Bible Study Group Finder

This large class meets at 8:00 a.m. and is comprised mostly of adults in their 60's-70's.  Many of the class have faithfully walked with the Lord and continue to serve him today in the church.  Join us if you'd like to connect with a mature group of believers who are making the most of the retirement years.

The class is for widows or women who are still married.  The primary age range is the '60s to '80s. 

Kurt lives just outside Wentzville in Foristell Missouri on 13 acres. He has two grown children - a son and a daughter. He is also blessed with grandchildren that he loves spending time with.

Kurt works for Purina Animal Nutrition out at the Research Farm in Gray Summit, Missouri. His spare time passions are motorcycles – riding, building, and restoring - along with vintage cars and trucks (and pretty much anything old that needs to be restored) and he tries to get as much “garage/tinker time” as he can. He also enjoys all shooting sports, the outdoors and enjoys painting and drawing- trying to utilize a degree in fine arts acquired long ago.

The Schultz class is a group of mostly married couples (with some singles) ranging from the low '40s to mid-’60s in age.  The group loves to laugh and have fun, but there are many Sundays where the Holy Spirit works through the teaching of God’s Word to inspire passionate emotions from class members and teachers alike.  The class is taught in an interactive fashion where group discussion and participation is encouraged and welcomed.  No matter the topic, we always bring the discussion back to the inerrant truth of the Bible!  Please join us at 10:45 on Sunday mornings!

Born and raised in Sullivan, MO and saved at the age of 10, Larry grew up in a strong Christian, church-serving family.  He was called into the ministry at the age of 16, graduated from Southwest Baptist University, Bolivar, MO and attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth, TX.  For over 30 years he served as Minister of Music in SBC churches from Missouri to Colorado to Florida.  

Larry & his wife, Donna, have been members here at FBC, Wentzville for over 4 years.  Today, more than ever, he believes it is spiritually imperative that the follower of Jesus Christ to be transformed by "the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2) that He (Jesus) might present her (the Church) Holy by "the washing with water through the Word. (Ephesians 5:26)"   We can "stand" against the wiles of the Devil in this evil day as we look for His return when we know and rest secure in His Word.

He looks forward to leading our 55+ group as we discover how we are to live in this world today and how they can serve God through His church here in Wentzville, St. Charles County, Missouri and around the world.

The Early Birds are comprised of singles and couples in the 50's and up age range. Our mission is life maturing Christian growth. We would love to meet you. Come visit and join our challenging Bible studies, fun and fellowship, and enjoy the opportunity to serve and make Christ known in the world.

All boys 6th - 8th grades gather every Sunday at 10:45 AM  in room 260B for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.

All girls 6th - 8th grade gather together every Sunday for Bible study and fellowship.  This class is led by Kaitlin Wies and Melanie Perstrope in room 260A.
